Solid Torrefied Spruce Top for Enhanced Dynamics

The 214ce-N Plus features a solid torrefied spruce top, which undergoes a specialized heat treatment to deliver a matured, played-in tonal quality. This process enhances the guitar’s ability to project sound, offering a wider dynamic range and improved harmonic complexity. Combined with layered rosewood back and sides, the instrument produces a well-balanced voice with a warm low end, clear trebles and a slightly rounded midrange. Whether you’re fingerpicking intricate nylon-string passages or strumming open chords, this guitar offers a responsive, full-bodied tone that fills any space with clarity and resonance.

Comfortable Grand Auditorium Body With Venetian Cutaway

Taylor’s Grand Auditorium body shape is a hallmark of versatility, offering a balance of comfort and projection that suits both delicate fingerpicking and robust strumming. The slightly narrower waist of the guitar ensures a natural, ergonomic playing position, making it equally comfortable whether seated or standing. The Venetian cutaway enhances the playing experience by providing easy access to higher frets, allowing players to execute complex solos or extended chord voicings effortlessly. Its design ensures that this model is as playable as it is sonically impressive.

Taylor ES-N Electronics for Authentic Amplified Tone

Designed specifically for nylon-string guitars, Taylor’s ES-N electronics capture the natural warmth and clarity of this instrument’s acoustic tone. The under-saddle piezo pickup provides a transparent, accurate representation of the guitar’s voice, while onboard controls for volume, bass and treble allow for precise tonal adjustments. Whether you’re performing live or recording in the studio, the ES-N system ensures that every subtle nuance of your playing is faithfully reproduced, making this guitar an excellent option for amplified performances.
