V-Class Bracing Unlocks the Guitar’s Full Potential

Taylor’s patented V-Class bracing is a breakthrough in acoustic guitar design that boosts volume, sustain and intonation. It creates a more resonant response that produces notes of exceptional clarity and consistency across the entire fretboard. Chords ring fully and freely, with a sonic purity. V-Class bracing gives the Builder’s Edition 614ce a dynamic range and tonal balance suited to any playing style.

Premium Tonewoods Produce a Sound That Sparkles

At the heart of the Builder’s Edition 614ce is a pairing of torrefied Sitka spruce and figured bigleaf maple. The spruce top provides clear tone and broad dynamic range, crisp articulation and bell like trebles. The maple back and sides enhance sustain, projection and complexity, extending the bass range while preserving maple’s innate clarity and focus. Together, these tonewoods generate a sound with shimmering highs, rich lows and a three-dimensional quality that gives each note a voice.
