Taylor GS Mini-e Koa Plus Acoustic-Electric Guitar Shaded Edge Burst

Description

Taylor Guitars is proud to offer the GS Mini-e Koa Plus, a revolutionary acoustic-electric guitar that packs a ton of tone into a comfortable travel size. Featuring a solid Hawaiian koa top paired with layered koa back and sides, this miniature powerhouse creates a lush, vibrant sound with crisp articulation. The smaller body size makes it ideal for hours of playing, while the upgraded ES2 electronics faithfully amplify its acoustic properties for natural tone plugged in.

Koa Construction Sings With Rich, Nuanced Tone

Koa is one of the world’s most coveted tonewoods and the GS Mini-e Koa Plus showcases its sonic strengths. The solid koa top adds shimmering highs, warm lows and a balanced midrange, while the layered koa back and sides provide superior resistance to environmental changes so your tone always sounds its best. As the top opens up over time, the voice becomes even more resonant and complex.

Cutting-Edge ES2 Pickup System for Natural Tone Plugged In

Taylor’s proprietary ES2 pickup system is a revolution in acoustic amplification. Its three uniquely positioned sensors capture the guitar’s full tonal range with exceptional clarity and responsiveness. On stage or recording, the ES2 faithfully conveys the GS Mini-e Koa Plus’s lush acoustic properties through any PA, amplifier or interface. Intuitive onboard controls for volume, treble and bass allow you to shape your tone as needed.

Petite Body, Powerful Voice

Inspired by Taylor’s iconic Grand Symphony shape, the GS Mini-e Koa Plus’s smaller size makes playing for hours effortless while sacrificing none of the full-bodied tone. Its shorter 23-1/2″ scale length facilitates chording, yet provides ample snap and tuning stability for complex playing. Whether at home, around the campfire or on tour, the GS Mini-e Koa Plus is a musical companion ready for any adventure.

Premium Appointments and Stylish Protection

Upgraded Taylor nickel mini tuners provide exceptional tuning accuracy and stability. A shaded edgeburst finish gives the sapele neck and body stylish highlights, complementing the koa’s natural beauty. A durable AeroCase protects your investment in style with handles for easy transport.
