Description
The Wylde Audio Goreghen is a true metal machine, designed by legendary guitarist Zakk Wylde and built by the experts at Schecter to deliver the fire and fury found in his playing. Forged with its unique, aggressively shaped mahogany body and fast maple neck, this axe provides a solid foundation for your most intense riffs and solos. The Goreghen offers a distinctive look that establishes its rough and ready attitude, and is ideal for guitar Vikings seeking a choice weapon to wage sonic warfare.
?Wylde-ly? Shaped Goreghen Body
Designed by the Wylde man himself, the Goreghen features a forceful, warlike double-cut mahogany body that you won?t find anywhere else. Its asymmetrical silhouette is razor-sharp in some areas and carefully curved in others, and is an inventive piece for the adventurous guitarist seeking an all-original look and feel. You can play ?sweet? licks with the Wylde Audio Goreghen, but they aren?t necessarily in its nature?this is a fast and furious instrument for serious shredding and riotous riffing.
A Neck Built for Speed and Comfort
The three-piece maple neck on the Goreghen has Zakk Wylde?s preferred C shape?a profile that?s substantial enough for rhythm work but still fast and comfortable for lightning-paced leads. A 14″ fretboard radius and 22 extra-jumbo frets make it easy to bend notes and play at the extreme ends of the neck. The ebony fingerboard enhances clarity and articulation, while Nordic-inspired rune inlays mark your path to musical Valhalla.
EMG 81/85 Pickups Provide High-Output Sound
The Wylde Audio Goreghen is armed with an EMG 81 in the bridge and an EMG 85 in the neck, each with their own volume control, as well as a master tone knob. This arrangement gives you the flexibility to blend the pickups to your taste and needs. The 81 is perfect for heavy rhythm and searing lead tones, while the 85 provides a warmer, rounder voice for chords and cleans. Dial them in together for a mix of power and articulation.
Premium Hardware for Relentless Reliability
The Goreghen features top-quality components to handle anything you throw at it. Grover tuners keep your instrument in tune through the longest sets and roughest playing, while the TonePros tune-o-matic bridge and Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut work together to improve resonance and sustain. This sharpened axe has durable hardware to withstand years of vitriolic playing, night in and night out.
Hard rock and metal players who want an instrument that can keep up with their most aggressive playing styles will love the Wylde Audio Goreghen. With classic high-performance EMG pickups, hardcore components and a slinky neck, this guitar provides the tone and playability demanded by today?s shredders and riffmasters. This guitar is wildly impressive up close?set sail for your nearest Guitar Center and engage in musical pillaging with the hard rock-ready Wylde Audio Goreghen.
