JBL SRX918S 18″ Powered Subwoofer

Description

The JBL SRX918S 18″ powered subwoofer redefines what’s possible in a self-contained bass system. Featuring dual 18″ woofers and a built-in 2,000W amplifier, this innovative sub reaches down to 35Hz with chest-thumping intensity. Now musicians and audio professionals alike can experience the performance of a full-scale bass rig in a streamlined, all-in-one design.

Differential Drive Woofers Deliver Seismic Lows

At the heart of the SRX918S are proprietary Differential Drive woofers, which utilize dual voice coils and gaps to improve power handling, reduce distortion, and achieve a wider dynamic range. The neodymium magnets and integrated heat sinks allow these 18″ drivers to reach extreme excursion levels without compromise, resulting in a frequency response that extends to the very limits of human hearing.

2,000W Amplifier Built for High-Powered Low End

Driving the SRX918S’s seismic woofers is a custom 2,000W Class-D amplifier purpose-built by JBL engineers. With a universal power supply that accepts voltages from 100 to 250V, this amp delivers high-current power with efficiency, enabling maximum output levels for hours on end. Advanced DSP?including 24-band EQ, 2,000ms of delay and JBL’s Array Size Compensation filter?provides comprehensive control over the sub’s tone and timing.

Road-Ready and Install-Friendly

While ideal for tour sound, the SRX918S is equally suited to permanent installations thanks to its plywood enclosure, three-point rigging system, and IP54 weather resistance. Multiple cabinets can be suspended, stacked, or pole-mounted to suit any venue. Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity offer network control from JBL’s system design and management software. With threaded inserts and available accessories like wall mounts, this subwoofer adapts to nearly any application that calls for chest-thumping low end.
