D’Angelico Premier Bedford SH: Bold Tones, Modern Style
The D’Angelico Premier Bedford SH electric guitar is a striking blend of vintage inspiration and modern design, now available exclusively at Guitar Center. Featuring a unique semi-hollow body with a sleek f-hole on the upper bout, this guitar brings a warm acoustic resonance to its versatile three-pickup configuration. Whether you?re crafting rich, spanky cleans or bold, overdriven tones, the D’Angelico Premier Series Bedford SH offers dynamic versatility with stunning looks and exceptional playability.
Three-Pickup Configuration for Wide Tonal Range
At the heart of the Premier Bedford SH?s sound is its versatile three-pickup configuration. Two Duncan Designed TE-103 single-coil pickups in the neck and middle positions deliver crisp, articulate tones with plenty of spank, while the Duncan Designed MH-102 mini-humbucker in the bridge position provides warm, focused mids with extra bite. Paired with a 5-way blade switch, this setup offers a wide variety of tones to suit genres ranging from funk and blues to rock and pop. Whether you need shimmering cleans or searing leads, the Bedford SH has you covered.
Semi-Hollow Construction for Enhanced Resonance
The semi-hollow basswood body of the D’Angelico Premier Bedford SH adds a layer of warmth and resonance to its tone. The stylish f-hole on the upper bout enhances its acoustic qualities while maintaining a lightweight, comfortable design for extended play. This construction provides a perfect balance between airy resonance and focused electric tone, making it a standout for both rhythm and lead playing.
Playability and Performance-Ready Features
The D’Angelico Premier Bedford SH is built for smooth playability. Its maple neck features a fast, comfortable profile, while the ovangkol fingerboard offers a smooth playing surface for chords and solos. The 6-point tremolo bridge adds expressive versatility, allowing for subtle vibrato or dramatic pitch bends while maintaining tuning stability. With its ergonomic design and reliable components, the Bedford SH is ideal for both stage and studio.
Distinctive D’Angelico Aesthetics
True to D?Angelico?s reputation, the Premier Bedford SH is as visually striking as it is sonically versatile. Its bold, modern design is complemented by the signature D?Angelico headstock, sleek f-hole, and shimmering hardware. These aesthetic details make it a guitar that stands out not only for its sound but also for its style.
