This signature model has been crafted to Slash’s personal specs with premium tonewoods and high-performance electronics for playing on stage or in the studio. The LR Baggs VTC pickup provides natural acoustic sound for any performance setting.

Custom Slash Neck Profile for Fast, Comfortable Playing

The Slash J-45 features a custom-shaped neck with a rounded profile for chording and soloing with ease. A flatter 16″ fingerboard radius and medium jumbo frets produce an ideal playing feel for intricate lead work. The rosewood fingerboard and belly bridge provide a warm, balanced tone.

Solid Mahogany Back and Sides for Resonant Tone

The J-45’s all-mahogany construction using solid tonewoods produces a warm and balanced tone with clear mids, tight lows, and crisp highs. Two-piece mahogany back and sides provide resonance and projection suited for any playing style. The solid Sitka spruce top enhances articulation and responsiveness.

Appointed With Slash’s Personal Touches

Exclusive to the Slash Core Collection are Slash’s “Scully” signature on the headstock, Slash’s signature on the truss rod cover, and four Slash Jim Dunlop Tortex picks. Additional appointments include six in-line tuners, a tortoiseshell pickguard, and Slash’s “Skully” emblem engraved on the truss rod cover.

Gig-Ready in Style

The Slash J-45 comes with a premium hardshell case for protection on the road. The gorgeous finish, a vibrant reddish-orange sunburst, produces an eye-catching look on stage under the spotlight.
