PRS SE Silver Sky With Rosewood Fingerboard Left-Handed Electric Guitar Laurel Green

Description

The PRS SE Silver Sky left-handed electric guitar brings John Mayer’s signature design to a broader audience, combining renowned PRS craftsmanship with thoughtful playability and a sleek visual aesthetic. Available in four stunning new finishes, the double-cutaway poplar body offers a balanced and familiar feel, while the maple neck and rosewood fretboard provide a comfortable grip that feels fast and smooth under the fingers. Players get 22 frets across a 25.5″ scale, giving you plenty of room for bends and expressive phrasing. The trio of 635JM “S” single-coil pickups add both snap and warmth, making this guitar a natural fit for left-handed musicians who crave vintage-inspired tone with modern versatility. With a two-point tremolo and classic PRS bird inlays, the SE Silver Sky stands out visually and sonically on any stage.

Three 635JM “S” Single-Coil Pickups Deliver Articulate, Lively Tone

The SE Silver Sky is loaded with three 635JM “S” single coils, designed to reproduce the clarity and nuance that Mayer fans expect. Each pickup reacts to the dynamics of your playing, so subtle picking or a heavier attack both translate into expressive, detailed output. The five-way switch lets players dial in bridge snap, neck warmth or blended in-between tones. This pickup setup delivers a crisp attack and rich sustain, perfect for making a statement on stage and in the recording booth.

Bolt-on Maple Neck With 635JM Carve for Enhanced Playability

The SE Silver Sky’s multi-ply maple neck features PRS’s classic yet comfortable 635JM carve, matching Mayer’s personal preference for a round, fast profile. The bolt-on construction adds snap and brightness, while the rosewood fretboard softens the attack for smoother tones. Twenty-two frets across a 25.5″ scale offer a traditional feel, and the 8.5″ radius supports easy bends and smooth slides. Classic PRS bird inlays help guide the way as your fingers take flight for expressive solos.

Intuitive Controls and Two-Point Tremolo Expand Creative Options

The SE Silver Sky’s control layout features a single volume and two tone knobs, paired with a five-way switch for easy pickup changes on the fly. The two-point steel tremolo bridge allows for subtle pitch shifts or expressive vibrato without losing tuning stability. Vintage-style tuners and a synthetic bone nut hold tuning steady, so players spend less time adjusting and more time making music. Quick access to the double-acting truss rod makes it easy to fine-tune the neck relief, ensuring optimal string tension at all times.

Poplar Body and Durable PRS Hardware Built for Frequent Use

This left-handed model is built with a solid poplar body for a blend of lightness and strength, while nickel-plated hardware stands up to heavy gigging and hectic tour schedules. The bolt-on neck design creates a strong connection for added sustain, and the synthetic bone nut resists wear over time. Each instrument ships with a PRS padded gig bag for added protection during travel or storage.
