Description
The Taylor 314ce Builder’s Edition 50th Anniversary Grand Auditorium acoustic-electric guitar commemorates the company’s 50 years of advancing the art of acoustic guitar design. This limited-edition model showcases premium materials and appointments, along with Taylor’s groundbreaking V-Class bracing. With its rounded shoulders and balanced tone, the Grand Auditorium body style suits a wide range of musical styles. Urban Ash back and sides pair with a Sitka spruce top to produce a clear, articulate voice with shimmering highs and focused lows.
Premium Appointments Honor an Important Milestone
To mark Taylor’s golden anniversary, the 314ce Builder’s Edition features distinctive cosmetic touches like a tobacco sunburst finish, Italian acrylic accents and gold tuners. The guitar’s back label also highlights its special-edition status. These premium appointments make the 314ce Builder’s Edition a guitar you’ll proudly own for years to come.
V-Class Bracing Unlocks the Guitar’s Potential
Taylor’s innovative V-Class bracing boosts the 314ce Builder’s Edition’s volume, sustain and intonation. Notes ring clearly from the first fret to the last, without the “sour” tones that can plague traditionally braced guitars. Chords have a balanced, musical quality and the guitar is highly responsive to a light touch. With V-Class bracing, your 314ce Builder’s Edition Grand Auditorium guitar becomes an inspiring instrument for composition, performance and recording.
Plug in for Amplified Versatility
The 314ce Builder’s Edition’s ES2 electronics expand its tonal palette for live performance and recording. Simply plug into an amplifier or PA system to access a natural acoustic sound with the twist of a knob. Onboard bass, treble and volume controls provide tone shaping at your fingertips.
Play in Comfort
A beveled armrest and cutaway grant you effortless access to the upper frets. Your hand has space to find an optimal position for chording, single-note runs and more. Whether you’re practicing at home or wowing an audience, the 314ce Builder’s Edition keeps you comfortable.
For 50 years, Taylor Guitars has pursued innovation and musical excellence. The 314ce Builder’s Edition 50th Anniversary Grand Auditorium acoustic-electric guitar embodies that spirit with premium components, versatile electronics and a signature tone suited for any style. This limited-edition instrument provides an experience you’ll enjoy for decades to come.
