Gretsch Guitars Broadkaster Jr. LX Semi-Hollowbody Electric Guitar – Caramel Dawn

Description

Compact in feel but expansive in voice, the Gretsch Broadkaster Jr. LX delivers modern semi-hollow performance with refined power and control. Its flamed maple body and redesigned Channel Core center block produce focused projection and impressive sustain, allowing the guitar to remain articulate at elevated stage volumes. Pro Twin Six humbuckers expand the traditional Gretsch sound with a broader, more muscular spectrum, while a 24.6″ set maple neck and ebony fingerboard offer smooth, confident playability. Anchored by a gold string-thru Bigsby vibrato and premium performance hardware, the Broadkaster Jr. LX is built for players who demand expressive range without sacrificing clarity or composure.

Flamed Maple Body With Channel Core Center Block for Punch, Sustain and High-Volume Clarity

The Broadkaster Jr. LX features an arched laminated flamed maple body that delivers articulate attack and striking visual depth. At its core is Gretsch?s redesigned Channel Core center block, combining maple and spruce to enhance midrange punch and accelerate note response while reducing unwanted feedback. This construction allows the guitar to retain semi-hollow air and resonance while behaving with the focus and control of a solidbody at higher gain levels. The slightly more compact Broadkaster Jr. dimensions further tighten the low end, giving chords definition and lead lines authority without excess bloom.

Maple Set Neck and Ebony Fingerboard for Precision and Effortless Control

A set maple neck carved to Gretsch?s standard U profile provides a supportive, substantial feel that remains comfortable through long sets. The 24.6″ scale length offers a subtly relaxed string tension that encourages expressive vibrato and smooth bending, while the 12″ radius ebony fingerboard promotes clean articulation and fast position changes. Rolled edges and 22 medium-jumbo frets create a broken-in feel from the first chord, and Luminlay side dots ensure clear visibility on dimly lit stages. Together, these elements make the Broadkaster Jr. LX feel agile, stable and performance-ready.

Pro Twin Six Humbuckers With Advanced Control Layout for Full-Spectrum Versatility

Equipped with Pro Twin Six humbuckers, the Broadkaster Jr. LX delivers a broader, more powerful interpretation of classic Gretsch tone. These pickups provide tight low end, pronounced midrange presence and clear, singing highs, maintaining articulation under drive while remaining dynamic at lower volumes. Individual pickup volume controls allow precise blending, while a master volume with treble bleed preserves clarity when rolling back output. The master no-load tone control, paired with a Squeezebox capacitor, offers an expansive tonal sweep?from open, cutting textures to warmer, rounded voices?giving players exceptional command over their sound.

Bigsby Vibrato and Premium Hardware for Stability and Expression

The string-thru Bigsby B7GP vibrato tailpiece enhances tuning stability and simplifies restringing while delivering smooth, expressive pitch modulation. An Adjusto-Matic bridge ensures accurate intonation and solid note transfer, working in tandem with a Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut for consistent tuning performance. Gotoh locking tuners further reinforce stability and speed up string changes, while Grover strap locks provide added security on stage. Gold hardware, a gold plexi pickguard and an Australian blackwood headcap complete the instrument with refined Gretsch style without compromising its performance-focused intent.
